Who the heck are yall?!

We’re Shane and Christa.  We’re two crazy Texans livin’ it up in the Queen City.  We’re exactly the same in everything that matters and exactly opposite in everything that doesn’t really matter at all.

Why do you write a blog?

Blogs are a great way for people to keep up with others.  I’ve been a blogger for over a decade and poor Shane’s just getting dragged along for the ride.  We hope our parents and friends can get a lil look-see into our lives through the interwebs medium.

What do yall do in real life?

As opposed to our fake blogging life?  Shane works for a chemical company doing super nerdy analysis and other stuff way over my head.  I daylight as your friendly Human Resources Representative.

How did yall meet?

We met at The University of Texas one hot summer day in Austin. My roommates and I were hosting a moving-in party the beginning of my sophomore (Shane’s junior) year.  I was delegated the task of ropin’ in the neighbors, and Shane lived next door with some frat brothers.  He answered the knock, came to the party, and the rest is history.

What kind of dog is Mac?

Mac is a maltese-poodle, as Shane would say, but I’d call him a maltipoo.  A very manly and badass dog, if we do say so ourselves.  People wrongly assume we named him after Mack Brown, the head coach of the amazing Texas Longhorns, but really he’s named after a favorite character on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the best show EVER.
