A follow-up to my two posts on breastfeeding – Part I and Part II.

We had a visit at the pediatrician on Monday and I am proud to say that with supplementing formula, Rachel gained A POUND AND AN OUNCE in one week!! She is up to 8 pounds, 7 ounches – hooray! And man, she is chunkin out really well now. Check out the difference in a week.

Sweet girl.

I’m really happy she is getting the nutrition she needs now. I’ve been working on my supply and my freezer stash. I pump whenever I can – whenever she lets me put her down…

So now I’m all more fenugreek, more blessed thistle, more lactation cookies, and a package from Mrs. Patel’s (thanks Leah for recommending!)! I’ll write about that later, but hope that this all works for me.

This is so great!!! I know you don’t mind supplementing with formula, but I hope you’re able to up your supply enough to go back to straight boob (if that’s what you want!)
