Workout ambivalence.

I’ve been hot and cold on working out this week. After sleeping for 10 hours (!!!!), I woke up on Sunday ready to run 10+.  Unfortunately it was almost 11 by the time I got fed and motivated, and it was starting to get hot out – almost 70 degrees.  I’m being a big baby since we trained in 100+ weather for Nike, but still – IT’S JANUARY.  Oy.

Settled on a nice and easy 8.

Shane and I spent the rest of the day at the outlet mall in Cypress; we both needed new work wear.

BUT then I was lazy the next couple of days.  I was supposed to be waking up early, but I was just too tired on Monday and later that night I had a happy hour with some rockin’ TNT ladies and ended up getting home late.

Emily, Shea, Erika, me, Kassie, Paula, and Ally!  We enjoyed champagne and bites at CHA.

Yep, totally not working out after the bubbly.

I made sure to cancel my Define Body class within the time limit so as to not be charged!

At least made it to spin on Wednesday morning!  Today was a 5 mile run with Aimee in the morning (after sleeping terribly, I kept tossing and turning and my stomach was hurting).  Yuck.  But then later tonight ran with a few SBS girls – a total of 9 miles for the day, so I’ll take it.

Tomorrow we have a fundraiser to attend and I’m gonna rest my legs, but will do a short brick (bike and run) on Saturday to shake ‘em out.  Big plans for Sunday – PR attempt at Galveston Marathon!
