SF/Napa Trip Part III: Post-race and the journey to NAPA!!

Post-marathon, the wine was immediate. 

Here we are hanging out in the corporate exec tent thanks to Amy D heading up the Bank of America team!  Aimee, Amy D, me, Julie.

We were able to take a short nap, then we walked (!!!) to Macy’s to buy our discounted NWM gear and also stopped at Ghirardellhi for some pumpkin spice caramels.

Marisa had chosen a delicious place for our Sunday dinner: Another Monkey Thai in the Mission.  We tried our hands at navigating the MUNI system, and it was successful!

The BEST pad see ew with tofu EVER.  I’m always a bit wary of how people cook their tofu, but this was delish.   Photo op at the restaurant…Margarita, Aimee, me, Amy D, Marisa, Julie!

Aimee and got entranced with Breaking Amish and must have watched three episodes while lying in bed, before crashing hard.   But not before Aimee tried on all of the finisher shirts we had acquired (took me 10 minutes to notice).  She stylishly pairs them with cupcake pajama pants and compression sleeves!

We woke up early so we could get on the road to wine country!  We picked up Laura and Rachel as well.  Marisa navigated Margarita, Aims, and I with care over the Bay Bridge:

We rented an adorable house on Main Street in downtown Napa.  Much more economical, plus more fun!  Walking distance to restaurants.
