Let me first say this – I NEVER WIN.
Now I can no longer say that because I WON the Run to Texas giveaway over at ZOOMA.
The idea was to enter a haiku about your running buddy – the winner gets 2 race entries to ZOOMA Austin Half Marathon, plus a massage for you and your buddy!
So of course I wrote mine about Aimee! The haiku really refers to Nike Women’s Marathon, which we’ll be taking on THIS SUNDAY.

Now, I’ve decided to pay it forward and post my first ever blog giveaway – an entry to the 5K of your choice! Just post a comment below with which 5K you want to run. That’s awesome that you won that race package! I need some serious blog mentoring. Writing about my Redman experience was my first “real” attempt. I might need to borrow you when you get back from kicking booty in SanFran to pick your brain about blogging. Oh, and umm, the Monster Mash Run sounds fun!

Well… last time I did a run I got extremely sick, and so now I have an anxiety every time I go to watch one, since hubs runs a lot. But, I am trying to kill this fear, so If I win, this would push me to try again.

i’m all booked up for races through november, but i’m debating doing the NYRR jingle bell jog again because i had a blast last year (it’s a 6k, can that still count?!). if not, i’m eying the cupid’s chase 5k here in philly!
