So first of all, go see Pitch Perfect. If you haven’t yet, watch this really quickly:
Since seeing it, I’ve had No Diggity perpetually stuck in my head. BUT it turns out I have been singing this song WRONG for over 16 years
Me (singing in the kitchen): I like the way you’re workin, no diggity.
Shane: Honey, it’s “I like the way you WORK IT, not workin.”
Me: Really? I really think it’s workin. *looks up azlyrics* Damn. It’s work it.
So yeah. A great song I’ve been butchering for going on 2 decades. Shane attributes my HR career to the lyrical fail and now I’ve been greeted with the following takes on the song….
“You’re an excellent employee, no diggity.”
“You have great skill sets, no diggity.”
“You’re invaluable to the company, no diggity.”
“You’ll be rewarded handsomely come bonus time, ohhhh yeahhh, bonus time.”
And the like.
At least it’s funny.

Between this and “Harem,” I should start a list.
