Friday night was a lazy night in, and just what we needed. Shane made his famous artichoke dip that’s so good I want to punch him in the face (yknow, in a good way). He also whipped up a homemade pizza – delicious dough! Featuring mushrooms, green peppers, black olives, onion. Top it all off with some good wine and Crave cupcakes! I think I could actually feel myself gaining weight. We stayed up late watching Girls and Game of Thrones. Shane’s not into Thrones, which saddens me. But we both get a kick out of Girls!
Fell asleep around 1 – and had to wake up at 5 to get ready for our second 8-mile run of the season. I was in charge of water, so I dropped that off on the course before we got started. Sooo I’m a little competitive and was pleased when Aimee and I were the first back from the 8 miles. Plus I need to be doing long runs at tempo, so will have to kick it up a notch this coming weekend – drop-back week to 6 miles.
Loved the rest of Saturday – potato, egg, & cheese kolaches from Kolache Factory, 3-hour nap. Went to the girls’ night at BlackFinn with lots of fun gals! Delicious $3 wine and champagne, plus their awesome food. I just wrote a Yelp! review here. We then changed venues and went over to Front Porch Pub for MOONDRIVERS – Blue Moon and frozen screwdrivers….they’re amazing.

Just a few of the fabulous ladies who were able to join. And an AMERICA FUCK YEAH pub crawl in the back – amazing idea. 13 bars for 13 colonies. Plus they gave us fake tattoos.
Dancing and good convo at Drinkery before rolling with Kyle to REBELS on Washington. I had never been before – I don’t usually frequent “honky tonks” – but this place was so fun. Country AND hip-hop. Line dancing, lots of line dancing. Lots of two-stepping – I never knew my friends were so talented off a bike! Color this retired dancer impressed. I will definitely go back – I loved it! Not sure why it has shitty Yelp! reviews. I’ll post one later.
Today was my first ever H-town Blogger meetup at Sugarbaby’s (sounds like a strip club but is actually a cupcake and confectionery shop). We had a private room at the back and Meg did a great job organizing the event! We even got to play some icebreaker games, which was fun for those of us who had never been to the meetups before. Will post the group pic soon!
And let’s not forget the LAUNDRY. That’s how my weekends always conclude.

Happy Monday!
It was great meeting you! Looking forward to the next one.
Have a great week!
I am obsessed with Game of Thrones. My husband watched it while I was in Vegas this year and then I came home and we watched it again and then I had a friend who lives nearby who doesn’t have HBO and I made her watch most of it with me again. It’s just SO GOOD.
