May was a little crazy around these parts. Not that April or March was much better, but May was particularly hectic.
It went a little something like this:
Sherlock’s Fundraiser with the CapTex team.
Bike for Mike on Cinco de Mayo - 70 miles, followed by a 3 mile run and a 2 mile swim. The next morning was a 16 mile run and 2 mile swim.
TNT kickoff for Fall 2012 – very special since my SiL and I are running in Nike Women’s Marathon together this season.
Home for my sister’s college graduation – so proud of her!
A cooking class at Well Done – it was Greek night.
Ironman Texas – whaaaaaaaaaaaat.
Lunch and shopping with my gal pal Caryn, who was in town from Chicago!
Austin, Texas for the Capital of Texas Triathlon (I was spectating, not racing. See my awesome sign below).
Countless other miles spent training. Leadership meetings for the winter season (my first time COACHING!!). The last Junior League meeting of the active year. And 8am conference calls, which should be illegal.
That’s all folks. I’m hoping June is far less eventful.
I’ll leave you with this awesome pic from IMTX. Maybe my favorite. Thanks, honey. You’re the best.
