April 2012 in a nutshell.

in In a Nutshell

I’m always late on these things.  It’s because I forget.  But so far I really like being able to look back at what happened month by month!

April was:

Memorial Hermann Ironman 70.3 Galveston

Jess’ birthday party at Canyon Creek (ah, the good ol’ days when I was drinking!)

Passover dinner at the Arlens’ house.

Daniel Tosh at Verizon Theatre.

My first time to ride 100 miles on the bike.

Second Seder Social at our house with my in-laws, Marisa, Amy D, and J-Ro.

We visited NYC (still didn’t blog about that, did I?) – Central Park Half Marathon, Newsies, happy hour with Rachel and Pete, dinner with Chandler and Clint, cupcakes, shopping, and all of the other fun stuff.  I’ve included this particular picture because I look dead and think it’s funny.

My 27th birthday – pretty anti-climactic.

More long training days.

Got my HR Generalist certification.

Kemah Triathlon with some good friends.

It was HARD. It was a 2-loop course in Central Park. There is a hill on the northwest side of the park that goes up for almost a whole mile. I am likely running the NYC Marathon this November!
