Oh, and today’s also my dad’s 56th birthday!
Happy birthday, Dad!!
We spent our final night in the apartment! Today the movers pulled up with their 18-wheeler full of all of our stuff that’s been in storage and packed up what little belongings we had in our possession – to take em to our NEW HOUSE!
We closed yesterday morning and honestly…I can’t wait to spend our first night there. We have been in cramped quarters for far too long.
Here’s a little preview of the new digs from the walk-thru last Friday. Please excuse the blurriness!
Oh look, there’s our new house. AND OH LOOK, THERE’S MY HANDSOME HUSBAND!
Living room with glass mosaic around fireplace.
View from the living room/balcony – more row houses across the street.
Half of the kitchen – island with gas range, oven, micro, pantry.
Quick shot of the tile and shower in master bath.
BEST PART OF THE HOUSE! A 1980s style wetbar, hahah. This is what you see coming up the stairs.
Better pics to come. Tonight should be pretty hectic since Shane has a work function and I really need to squeeze in a run. Aimee and I are gonna run in Memorial quickly while the dogs spend quality time with their Uncle Michael. They are, as predicted…FREAKING OUT. They’ve come to understand the meaning of boxes and suitcases – last move for awhile boys, promise. (Like they’re sitting at home, reading my blog? Whatever)
And then….of course I had to order these today. I had found some cuter ones on Tiny Prints but couldn’t pass up the the price on these VistaPrint ones.

Soooo excited, yall! We have been ready for this house for awhile now.

So excited for you! I wish I could come out to see the house!
Thanks, lady! Come out whenever you can, we’d love to have ya.
The house looks great. I really love the built-ins around the fireplace.
That’s one of my favorite parts too! Thanks!
