Things I’ve been thinking about and wish to discuss:
1) The Housewarming of Haus Ginsburg! This one will get its own post. But I personally had a stellar time and hope everyone else did as well. Since the party, we’ve had a cooler full of ice cold beer on our balcony and we enjoy them after work. We feel trashy yet awesome. The balcony looks out onto the street, so everyone gets a great view of our TX/OU Weekend cooler from 2004 – big words say TEXAS FIGHT – yes.
2) Blog header. It is awesome and was designed by Rachael over at LivitLuvit. Feels pretty weird to be able to use her real name now….can I still call you Lilu? BUT now that our family has grown (+1 dog) and we don’t live in Charlotte anymore, I need to change it up. Excited! Now that I’m getting the hang of Thesis, I really think I can do it.
3) The phrase “get the brass ring.” I had NEVER heard this phrase til Glee. Now I’ve been hearing it all the time. I had discussion with my friend Sarah about what it meant. Apparently the brass ring was the ultimate goal of carnival rides…carousels? Something. Ponies are involved. So basically it means to get the highest prize. Hooray!
4) High Fashion Home. Again, had never heard of. I asked my friend Mary Ann at the housewarming where she procured her fabulous handbag – and then I got schooled about HFH. New obsession? Maybe… Now I see signs and displays everywhere.
