Haus Ginsburg #1 – SOLD.

There’s much for me to write about right now, but for this post I’m sticking to houses.  Namely, the selling.  Buying will come later.

It is….well…for lack of a better phrase, a pain in the ass.

We put the house on the market in mid-September and sold it after about six weeks.

My mother-in-law came here and did an amazing job getting the house show-worthy.  Some before and after pics:

Looks incredible, eh?  Shane even painted the front door a nice mocha color.  Check it.

It was a slow process, though we were lucky to have sold it at all in this market.  We priced really aggressively because hello?  I do not want to be waiting here, plus we had some other motivation to sell early.  We had just a couple of showings slowly.  I think we only had about 8 overall.  And the guy who ended up buying only saw it once.  Nice.

So we close the 22nd.  One week from today.  Hallelujah.
